Lot Download: Pleasantview Regional Hospital [UPDATED] (NO CC!)
Welcome to the Pleasantview Regional Hospital (Again...)!
General
If you knew me before my Simney era (I'm so sorry), you would know that a long time ago, I built a hospital for Pleasantview in Sims 2. Recently, I've been playing around with the cleaned-up CH hospital mod. So, I decided to revisit this old lot of mine, clean it up (literally), give it a little facelift, and make it compatible with that mod.
Heavily inspired by my local hospital, I originally built this lot specifically for Pleasantview, but it looks just fine anywhere else! I was really inspired by ChrisTheNewbie's recreated lots from the storytelling images in Pleasantview, so I re-created the room Angela and Lilith Pleasant were born in!

Recommended Lot Placement
The Pleasantview Regional Hospital, in my opinion, looks great across the street from the boutique. Place it wherever you'd like, but here's where I personally recommend you place it!
Compatability with CH's Hospital Mod
I updated this lot specifically for this mod. For more information about the hospital mod and how to set it up, read my gameplay guide here.
All you need to do in order to make this lot work with the hospital mod is place the ambulance down, put the birthing lights in the maternity rooms, and place heart monitors next to each bed. I would also recommend you place the special "hospital door" onto the on-call room, so no sim will go in there except staff.
Changes
I really questioned myself a few times with the design of this hospital. Caleb, what the hell were you thinking?
- First of all, I changed the lot zoning to community instead of residential, for better compatibility with the hospital mod.
- I deleted the helipad. It seemed so extremely unrealistic to have it so close to the building like that, and it's not like it's ever going to be used. In place of it, I added more patient rooms, a few grills, chess tables, and outdoor dining tables.
- The O.R. is now a small cafeteria. If sims need surgery, they can just go to a hospital in SimCity or something.
- Added a photo booth because why not?
- Made some small changes to the front desk/nursery.
- Made a few changes to the exterior.
- Gave the lot a description and renamed it "Pleasantview Regional Hospital".
Recommended Mods
- Parking Spaces - This mod will generate cars in your parking lots, depending on the time of day and type of lot. This is essential in all of my community lots!
- Parking Lot Supplemental Pack - A set of parking blocks, parking signs, and speed bumps. I made some simlish recolors of the parking lot signs if anyone is interested.
